About Vana Koutsomitis

Vana Koutsomitis is a serial entrepreneur who is passionate about connecting people through culture, crowdfunding and community. Vana is the co-founder and CEO of DatePlay, alongside Joris Magenti. DatePlay is a dating app where you play games to meet your match. Vana presented DatePlay on the BBC's The Apprentice, with Lord Sugar, where she was runner-up.

Vana's Story

Vana is a Cornell University graduate with an MBA from Oxford University. She is a former financial professional, and currently an entrepreneur, focused on marketing and business development. In 2015, Vana was runner-up on The Apprentice on BBC. On Valentine's Day 2017, Vana launched a dating app called DatePlay, which was funded via crowdfunding in the UK. Vana brings her experience in crowdfunding to advise the companies on their campaigns.

Vana is half Colombian, half Greek and was raised in New York City. Vana is passionate about getting young women into tech. She is a writer for the Huffington Post and Fortune Magazine.
